Short-term relief for spouses and family caregivers who need a break or have appointments of their own.
Generally, Veterans who served at least 90 days of active duty including at least one day during a recognized wartime period.
Surviving spouses of qualifying Veterans may be eligible for Survivors Pension and Aid & Attendance benefits.
You must need assistance with activities of daily living or be housebound. Documentation comes from your physician.
